GLAMP SITE GROUNDWORKS IN KELBURN SCOTLAND

Groundworks In Kelburn, Scotland

MAM Contracting have completed the groundworks for a glamping site at Kelburn near Largs. 

Located in close proximity to the famously colourful Kelburn castle, this new luxury campsite acts as a relaxing getaway for people and families all over the country and beyond. The glamping facilities are located on the Kelburn castle estate and boast a range of activities for families and individuals alike. This includes a range of play areas (closed during the winter months for maintenance), a Secret Forest, Glens and Gardens and even a gift shop.

As a coastal woodland, the area has many trails and walks for hikers with fantastic views of the glen. There are many woodland trails to choose from - whether you're interested in history, sculpture or just want a gorgeous view, there's something for everyone.

The glamping facilities themselves provide high-quality accommodation for those wishing to explore this magical area. Each pod comes complete with a wood-burning stove and fire pit so you can toast marshmallows while admiring the night sky. 

MAM Contracting was brought on board to improve the site's facilities and improve the quality of access between pods, pathways and amenities. We conducted numerous jobs on-site, including a new access road and path to each pod and disabled access.

Foundation and drainage works were carried out for a new shower block for guests, and water and services were installed. The area was then finished off with attractive mono-blocking, improving the overall look of the site.
